To sleep or not to sleep

The fatigue caused by anxiety is worst in the morning.

During the day time it fades away a little bit, but it never totally disappear. It is like to have a uninvited guest who never understands when it is time to leave.

I have often unexpected cramps in the muscles of the left leg, and prickly pain in the other one. I stretch them one by one in a 45 degrees angle five minutes at a time until I can raise my heavy body out of our simple made bed. To do the last mentioned activity is like practicing acrobatics at a high level.

We have talked about it and decided to buy a real mattress specially designed and made for people with rheumatism. I hope the sleep problems will decrease gradually, and the joy and happiness will return to my life step by step.

I have not slept a night without interruptions for 10 years or so. Without proper sleep, the mind can never fully rest, which again is a source for poorer mental health. So be sure that I look forward to the specific day when our new and expensive mattress arrives. I both hope and believe that my life will change for the better from that specific day.

You need to have some rest in life. Otherwise you will be more and more sick and eventually die.

It is like the ice skater who rest on his long distance skates during the long-distance running of 10,000 meters. I was very interested in ice skating when I was a young boy and ladde, but my feet always hindered me to feel the joy I supposed the good skaters should experience on the ice. It started to hurt already after 15 minutes, but that time I did not understand that it was a young and developing rheumatism which knocked on the entrance door.

Many mistakes in a human's life are made in a state of lack of sleep. The mind is tired and it is not so easy to balance properly on the mental line all the time. Some fall off. Others make it. The darkness has taken many lives.
